Aloha PGA for Japan!
The PGA Golf Day was established for golfers in the Aloha Section PGA to raise money for the Aloha Section PGA Foundation. Participants of PGA Golf Day will play 100 holes of golf, all in 1 day, 1 ball, 1 hole at a time.
The goal of PGA Golf Day is to raise $10,000 through participation in playing 100 holes in one day. Seventy percent of the money raised will be given to the Aloha Section PGA Foundation and thirty percent will be given back to the ASPGA Japan Tsunami Relief Fund or a charity of the golfer’s choice.
We are asking you to support the Aloha Section PGA golfers as they complete the 100 holes challenge. Donations of $.50, $1, $2, $5 or anything per hole can be made for each golfer.

The ASPGA Japan Tsunami Relief Fund
The Aloha Section PGA Foundation has stepped up in its continued efforts to help the people of Japan who have been affected by the tsunami. A portion of the proceeds from PGA Golf Day will be given to the ASPGA Japan Tsunami Relief Fund to help aid the relief effort and rebuild the lives of so many others. Do your part and support Aloha PGA for Japan!
In 2003, 260 members and apprentices of the Aloha Section PGA reaffirmed their commitment to the game by creating the Aloha Section PGA Foundation. The purpose of the Aloha Section PGA Foundation, a 501(c) (3) charitable organization and the philanthropic arm of the Aloha Section PGA, is to develop and promote interest in the game of golf while enhancing the lives of those that participate. The Foundation contributes to the community and charities such as the ASPGA Japan Tsunami Relief Fund and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii. The ASPGA Foundation also supports programs throughout the year such as junior golf, scholarships for higher education, PGA Apprentice grants, free golf clinics, and growth of the game initiatives.
