It’s been a great summer for the STPGA Foundation!  So much so that we have extended the window of play for our Charity Golf Day and made this a Charity Golf Summer!  We have had amazing support and participation from some of our Section leaders and members.  For that we are truly grateful.

The Junior Golf Championship was a tremendous success.  We crowned 9 different winners in the various divisions, and soon we will crown our Charity Golf Summer champion!

The STPGA Foundation Charities Golf Day was established by PGA professionals in Southern Texas to raise money for these special programs supported by the Foundation. PGA Professionals that are members of the Southern Texas Section will play a golf marathon - 100-holes of golf in one day! The PGA Professionals are requesting your donation to support the Foundation as well as their chosen charity.

The Southern Texas PGA Foundation continuously prides itself on its ability to provide exceptional programs, such as the STPGA Academy Sports + Outdoors Junior Golf program, scholarships for students pursuing a college education, and Participation Scholarships from the Dick Harmon Grant, to help promote and maintain the future of our great game.  By providing these types of programs we are ensuring that the coming generations of golfers will have a great respect for and understanding of the game, learning lessons that will carry them through both on and off the golf course.
