My Friends,
I need your help! I have committed to participate in the 2010 PGA Golf Day; which means I will play 100 holes of golf in one day at Desert Forest Golf Club. The date I will play will be as soon as I heal from a fractured rib injury. Most likely it will be in July; I'll keep you posted. One ball at a time for 100 holes. PGA Golf Day was established in 2009 by local PGA professionals to raise money for Special Olympics Arizona and the SWSPGA Foundation.
Special Olympics Arizona provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The SWSPGA Foundation is the ten-year-old, non-profit arm of the Southwest Section PGA. The Foundation has generously contributed to the community and charities like the 9/11 Relief Fund, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, and Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Please help me in this endeavor by sponsoring me for $1, $2, $5 or whatever you can per hole. I have sponsored myself for $1 per hole or $100 and your pledge is 100% tax deductible.
