Facts about the Colorado PGA Foundation
Our mission is to positively impact people’s lives through the game of golf. We accomplish this mission through Golf In School Programs, Growth of the Game Programs, College Scholarships, working with the VA Hospital, the Soldiers at Fort Carson and the March of Dimes.

Two of our biggest partners in what we do are the Colorado Golf Association (CGA) and the Colorado Women’s Golf Association (CWGA).

Our two largest corporate partners are the Colorado Chevy Dealers and Mercedes Benz of Littleton. The Colorado Chevy Dealers have been partners of the Colorado PGA for over thirty (30) years and Mercedes Benz of Littleton has joined with us these past two years.

The Colorado PGA Foundation along with the PGA of America has awarded annually tens of thousands of dollars in College Scholarships and Grants.

Our Golf In Schools Program is currently in several Denver Public Schools. We partner with Birdie Ball and supply these schools with the equipment necessary to teach the game of golf and partner a Colorado PGA Professional with the PE teacher to teach the game and also the life skills the game of golf teaches. Life skills like integrity, respect for others, etc……

In 2010 our Foundation partnered with the March of Dimes and 50 of our Colorado PGA Professionals raised over $80, 000.00. The March of Dimes was created in 1938 by President Roosevelt to find a cure for Polio. After a cure was found the March of Dime now focuses on preventing premature births. It’s all about healthy mothers and healthy babies.

Each year Colorado PGA Professionals spend time visiting those who have served our country by visiting the Denver VA Hospital. It is quite the experience when you have the opportunity to visit with these men and women, hear their story and say thanks for what they did for all of us. It may be the best thing we do all year.

The Foundation Pro-Am & Silent Auction is an annual fundraiser held in July at the prestigious Eisenhower Golf Club at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs to raise funds for the Colorado PGA Foundation. To help impact people’s lives through the game of golf.
