Programs Supported by the NCPGA Foundation

  • PGA HOPE Northern California "Helping Our Patriots Everywhere" - A series of golf clinics taught by PGA Professionals free of charge to military Veterans to introduce them to game of golf to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.  All Veterans are welcome whether disabled or able-bodied.

  • Jim Langley Scholarship Fund - A college scholarship fund established in honor of Jim Langley, PGA, former TOUR Player, Head Professional at Cypress Point Club, and U.S. Marine, who gave much of his time to helping & teaching junior players. Two scholarships are awarded each year to college bound high school seniors, one boy and one girl, residing within in the boundaries of the Northern California Section PGA.

  • Chris Thomas PGA Associate Scholarship Fund - A financial scholarship fund to assist PGM Associates who are working hard to achieve their dream of graduating from the Professional Golf Management program in order to become certified PGA Class A Professionals. Associates must work full time while going through the PGM program, which can be challenging. This scholarship helps with their education costs.

Since 2008, the NCPGA Foundation has given over $600,000 to many diverse junior golf programs and organizations in support of the Northern California PGA Membership as a way of fulfilling its vision of "Impacting Lives Through Golf."
